The rules every page on this site follows: where the facts come from, what we will not publish, and how we correct mistakes.
RPM Gym publishes a large site: service pages, practical guides, location pages, articles and fitness calculators, in English and Arabic. This page sets out the rules every one of them follows, so you can judge what you read here and tell us when we get something wrong.
The site belongs to RPM Gym, one club on Level 4 of AD HUB Sports Complex in Al Manhal, Abu Dhabi. Guides and articles are published by RPM and attributed to the RPM team. We name an individual author only when a real coach stands behind that particular piece and agrees to be named.
The address, phone number, opening hours, sections, recovery facilities and parking are kept in one place, and every page reads them from there, so a change reaches every page at once. If we cannot confirm something about the club, such as a measurement, a temperature, a coach's qualification or what a membership tier includes, we do not publish it. The page tells you what to ask on a tour instead.
RPM does not publish prices online. Where a page is about cost, it explains what drives the price and says that current rates come from the team. It never estimates RPM's price.
Distances and drive times on location pages are estimates. Most come from OpenStreetMap routing with no traffic, measured to the club's map pin, which makes them a lower bound: real journeys usually take longer. A few older neighbourhood pages carry earlier estimates that have not been re-measured yet, and are labelled that way. No page presents a drive time as a measured journey.
RPM's coaches are fitness professionals, not clinicians. We do not diagnose, promise a result, or tell you that something is safe for you. Pages about nutrition, recovery, heat and similar topics carry a general disclaimer; pages that touch pregnancy, injury, pain or a medical condition carry a stronger one and point you to your doctor.
Some guides need a qualified professional to review them before they should be read as advice. We write them, then keep them out of search results until that review is done. Health statements cite sources such as the World Health Organization, the American College of Sports Medicine, peer-reviewed research and UAE health authorities.
Each calculator uses a named, published method, such as Mifflin-St Jeor for energy needs, the WHO categories for BMI, the US Navy method for body fat, the Epley and Brzycki equations for a one-rep max, MET values for energy cost and the Tanaka equation for maximum heart rate. Results are shown as estimates, and each page explains what its method cannot tell you.
The food values in our food calorie calculator are read from published food composition tables: USDA FoodData Central (Foundation Foods), the Indian Food Composition Tables 2017, and the Food Composition Tables for the Kingdom of Bahrain (2011, hosted by FAO/INFOODS). We keep the record each value comes from. We do not type values in by hand or estimate a dish from generic ingredients.
We show RPM's Google rating and link to the reviews on Google. We do not publish a testimonial whose source we cannot show, and we do not add review markup about ourselves. We do not call RPM the best gym, and we do not compare RPM with a named gym unless every fact about that gym is cited and dated.
RPM is independent. It is not an official HYROX partner or a CrossFit affiliate; where those names appear, they describe a race format or a style of training.
The date a page shows as updated is the last time its content changed, not the last time the site was rebuilt. When we correct a fact about the club, the correction reaches every page that uses it.
Every visitor, person or crawler, gets the same page. There is no hidden text and no content written only for search engines or AI assistants. Search and AI crawlers are allowed to read the site, so that answers that cite RPM can cite it accurately.
If something here is wrong or out of date, email rpmgym.ae@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp. We check it against the source and correct it.
