Aroma steam room at RPM Gym Abu Dhabi
// Aroma Steam · Recovery Suite

The gym with the steam room in Abu Dhabi .

A proper aroma steam room — humid, calming, built for breath and recovery. Sits next to the Finnish sauna and 4°C ice bath inside the members-only recovery suite.

Steam rooms get cut from most Abu Dhabi gym fit-outs to save space. RPM kept the full triad — sauna, steam, ice — because that's what makes a recovery suite actually work.

The steam room belongs to the members-only recovery suite, alongside the Finnish sauna and ice bath.

// Why members steam

The gentler side of the recovery suite

Humid aroma steam is the soft option in the triad — here's where it fits.

Breathe & unwind

Warm humidity many members find pleasant for a slow, calming wind-down.

Lighter recovery days

A softer heat than the dry sauna for days you want to keep it easy.

Hot / cold contrast

Use the steam as the hot round before a 4°C ice-bath plunge.

After cardio

A relaxed finish to a treadmill, bike or rower session.

Aromatic reset

Scented steam for a spa-like end to a training day.

Included in every tier

Steam, sauna and ice bath all come with Floor, Engine and Atelier.

// Frequently Asked

Questions, answered.

Which gym in Abu Dhabi has a steam room?

RPM Gym in Al Manhal (AD HUB Sports Complex, Level 4) has an aroma steam room inside its members-only recovery suite, alongside a Finnish sauna and 4°C ice bath.

What's the difference between the steam room and the sauna?

The steam room is humid and moderate-temperature with aromatics; the Finnish sauna is hot and dry. Steam feels gentler on breathing, which is why many members use it to wind down or on lighter days.

How long should I stay in the steam room?

Rounds of around 10–15 minutes are typical. Stay hydrated, and step out whenever you've had enough — comfort, not endurance, is the point.

Is the steam room included in membership?

Yes — every membership tier (Floor, Engine, Atelier) includes the steam room, sauna and ice bath.

Sauna or steam room — which one first?

Either works. Most members alternate: a heat round (sauna or steam) followed by 2–3 minutes in the ice bath, repeated 2–3 times.
