A multispecialty hospital on Muroor Road, and the stop before home
LLH's website presents LLH Hospital Abu Dhabi as a multispecialty hospital, and the route box measures from the hospital as mapped on Sultan Bin Zayed The First Street, the road most people call Muroor Road. This page is for the people whose working day ends there, not for residents along the road.
RPM is one club, on Level 4 of AD HUB Sports Complex in Al Manhal, with no arrangement with LLH. For the wider picture first, see the basic checks on a gym stop between work and home.
Energy against time: a grid for tonight
At the end of the shift, ask two questions. How much energy is left? And how much time remains before you need to be asleep, once the drive home and a meal are counted? Then read the square where your answers meet.
| Energy left after the shift | Plenty of time before sleep | Time is tight |
|---|---|---|
| Plenty | Everything you planned: the full session | One main lift, then home |
| Some | A moderate session on machines and cables, with no all-out sets | Easy cardio, then home |
| Very little | Home. Rest is tonight's training | Home |
A planning aid for healthy adults, not a medical tool. If shifts leave you drained most days, mention it to your doctor.
Be honest about energy: did you eat during the shift, and how long were you on your feet? Time is easier. Count back from when you must sleep, take off the drive home and a meal, and see what is left.
What each square looks like on the floor
- Full session: a warm-up, then a main lift such as a squat at the rack, a pull on the cable towers, a dumbbell press and some core work.
- One main lift, then home: warm up, work up to a few solid sets of one lift, and leave. It keeps the habit going on a busy evening.
- Moderate session: plate-loaded machines and cable work at a steady effort, with every set stopping short of failure.
- Easy cardio: the upright bike or a cross-trainer at a pace you could talk at, then some stretching.
Save these four on your phone. At the end of a shift you only pick one, and nothing needs planning from scratch.
Electra Street, then the final stretch
The mapped route from the hospital runs along Zayed The First Street (Electra Street), then Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Street (Airport Road) into Al Manhal. Leave the car in AD HUB's free on-site parking and take the lift to Level 4. The route box holds the mapped estimates, and at the end of a working day the drive takes longer.
The grid only works if the club is still open when you arrive. Check the hours below against your usual shift end, and remember that Fridays are shorter.
| Days | Opening hours |
|---|---|
| Saturday to Thursday | 06:00–23:00 |
| Friday | 09:00–22:00 |
Hours can change, for example during Ramadan. Confirm with the team before a late or early visit.
Two stops a week, not every evening
A stop on the way home works when it is a regular, limited habit. Pick the two shift ends that are most reliable in your rota and make those your stop evenings. On the others, drive straight home without debating it. The guide to training after work has more on keeping evening sessions going.
- Keep a packed kit bag in the boot of the car.
- Change out of uniform at the club, where keypad lockers in the changing area hold your badge and phone. Ask whether towels are provided, and about showers.
- If the grid sends you home three evenings running, take the hint and move one stop to a day off.
- Women who would rather train among women can use the Ladies section, if their tier covers it.

Questions, answered.
Is RPM part of LLH Hospital, or on Muroor Road?
No. RPM has one club, on Level 4 of AD HUB Sports Complex in Al Manhal, and no arrangement with LLH. The route box shows the mapped trip from the hospital.
My shift ends late in the evening. Is there still time?
Check the hours above. The club keeps late-evening opening, with shorter Friday hours, but if a session would push your sleep back, the grid has already answered: go home.
Is the stop worth it if I live on the other side of town?
Only if the detour is small. If RPM sends you back the way you came, keep it for days off, when the trip has no shift attached.
Can colleagues from the hospital join me?
Yes. The Mixed section is shared by men and women, so colleagues of either can come along. If a larger group is interested, your employer can ask about corporate arrangements, which are tailored to each organisation.
Do I need a coach for this?
No. The Floor tier covers the training floor if you train alone. A coach helps if you want the four sessions written for you, through personal training.
