The Al Mamoura offices, and a club a short drive away
Mubadala Investment Company, which its website describes as a sovereign investor, gives its Abu Dhabi headquarters as the Al Mamoura A Building. This page is for the people who work in the Al Mamoura offices and the buildings around them in Al Nahyan. It says nothing else about Mubadala, or about any other employer there.
RPM is one club, on Level 4 of AD HUB Sports Complex in Al Manhal, with no arrangement with any organisation in the building. By the route box's mapped estimates, the drive from the Al Mamoura Building is a short one. That moves the lunch question on from whether a session fits to how you make one worth repeating. For the wider picture first, read how RPM's single club fits a working day in Al Nahyan.
Rotate three short sessions instead of fixing weekdays
A lunch plan pinned to weekdays falls apart the first time a meeting lands on Tuesday. Rotate the sessions instead: on any day the break is clear, do whichever letter comes next.
| Session | What it covers | Where on the floor | How it stays short |
|---|---|---|---|
| A: lower body | A squat or leg press, then a hinge and a loaded carry | The squat rack with colour bumper plates, the plate-loaded leg press, kettlebells | Three working sets of the main lift, then move on |
| B: upper body | A pull and a push, then a row | The plate-loaded pulldown, the cable towers, dumbbells and benches | Pair two exercises, so one muscle group rests while the other works |
| C: conditioning | Short rounds that raise the heart rate and let it settle again | The turf lane with the sled, battle ropes, the upright bike | Finish with easy pedalling rather than a hard last round |
With two lunch sessions a week, each letter comes round every week and a half or so. Load goes up slowly, and nothing is skipped for good.
If you would rather someone else wrote the rotation, a coach can build one around your break through personal training, and you can ask whether a regular midday slot is available. The guide to training at lunch covers the general case, with no particular gym in mind.
Where lunch goes when the gym takes the lunch hour
Training in the break means eating around it. This pattern suits plenty of office workers:
- Mid-morning: a small snack at your desk, so the session does not start on an empty stomach.
- Before you leave: water, above all from May to September, when even the walk to the car is hot.
- After the session: lunch packed from home, eaten back at your desk.
- Late afternoon: something light if dinner is still a long way off.
If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or follow a set eating plan, ask your doctor or a dietitian how a midday session fits it. RPM's coaches are fitness professionals, not clinicians.
Back at your desk, looking unhurried
End a lunch session on easy movement rather than your hardest round, so you have stopped sweating by the time you change.
- Office clothes wait on a hanger in the car, or in a keypad locker in the changing area while you train.
- Hairdryers and products wait at the vanity area in the grooming hub.
- Ask the team about showers, and whether towels are provided, before your first lunchtime visit.
- Plan the session at your desk in the morning, so no part of the break goes on deciding what to do.
AD HUB has free on-site parking and a lift to Level 4, so the break goes on the training floor rather than on hunting for a space.
Weeks when the lunch hour disappears
Some weeks the break is not yours. Decide where the session goes before it happens:
| When | What happens to lunch | Move the session to |
|---|---|---|
| A week of back-to-back meetings | Breaks get booked over or cut short | An early morning before the office, or one longer weekend visit |
| Fridays | The midday prayers shape the break, and club hours are shorter | Leave Friday out, or train early in the day |
| Ramadan | Office hours often change, and many people are fasting | After iftar, once you have eaten, within the club's adjusted hours |
| Summer | The break stays the same, but the heat outside builds | Lunch still works, since the session is indoors. Keep the walk to the car short |
| Days | Opening hours |
|---|---|
| Saturday to Thursday | 06:00–23:00 |
| Friday | 09:00–22:00 |
Hours can change, for example during Ramadan. Confirm with the team before a late or early visit.
Ramadan can bring different times from the table above, so check with the team before you move a session.

Questions, answered.
Is there an RPM club inside the Al Mamoura Building?
No. The only RPM club is in AD HUB Sports Complex in Al Manhal, up on Level 4. The route box above shows the mapped trip from the Al Mamoura Building.
Will the training floor be busy at lunchtime?
Busy times shift across the week. Ask the team which midday hours tend to be quieter, and take your free guided tour in your real break so you see it for yourself.
Colleagues in the building want to train at lunch too. Can our employer arrange something?
Any arrangement would be between your employer and RPM, set up for that organisation and confirmed on enquiry. This page cannot speak for any employer in the building, so ask HR to look at corporate arrangements.
Is there a women-only space for a lunchtime session?
Yes. Women can train in the Ladies section, a women-only floor with its own strength and cardio equipment plus the Pilates studio, where female coaches from the roster work. Check that your tier covers it.
Should I use the sauna or ice bath at lunch?
Keep the recovery suite for an evening or a weekend, when no meeting is waiting. If you are pregnant or have a heart condition, ask your doctor before using heat or cold, and ask the team whether your tier includes the suite.
My break is shorter than an hour. Is lunch still worth trying?
Test one session before relying on it. A short break may hold session C and nothing else, and on those weeks after work is the steadier slot.
