A street that runs right by the club
This page is for two groups: people who live along Al Karamah Street, and people who drive it on the way somewhere else. The mapped estimates put the street right by AD HUB Sports Complex, where RPM is one club, on Level 4, in Al Manhal.
Being this close changes the questions. Getting there stops being the obstacle, so what matters is how to use a gym that is always within reach, and how to stop it fading into the background. For the wider page on choosing a gym by where it is, start with RPM's main location page.
Straight line or road: reading the route box from here
The route box shows two distances: a straight line from the street to RPM, and the distance by road. From Al Karamah Street the two can differ more than you might expect, because a car follows the road layout rather than a straight line. Both figures start from the point of the street nearest RPM.
So being by the gym does not mean stepping out of your door and into the club. Find the map pin on the contact page and plan the drive in. On arrival, AD HUB has free on-site parking and a lift to Level 4. The route box gives driving figures only and maps no walking route, and from May to September the car is the realistic choice anyway.
Things a gym this close lets you do
| Use | How it works | Worth asking |
|---|---|---|
| Come back later if the floor is busy | Go home and return an hour or two later instead of waiting for equipment | Which hours tend to be quieter |
| Split a crowded day | A short cardio visit in the morning and strength in the evening | Whether a coach thinks two short visits suit your plan |
| A recovery visit on a rest day | Time in the recovery suite without a full workout | Whether your tier or pass includes it |
| Drop into a class | Join one from the timetable without planning a trip around it | What runs at your hours this week |
| A short check-in with a coach | A brief coached session to review technique, fitted between other plans | How coached sessions are booked |
Read about the recovery suite before a rest-day visit, and if you are pregnant or have a heart condition, ask your doctor before using the sauna, steam room or ice bath.
None of these works as well when the gym is a long drive away, which is why they are worth building into the week from the start rather than discovering later.
The catch: a gym you pass every day is easy to postpone
There is always later, and later easily turns into tomorrow. Residents of a street this close often need structure more than motivation.
- Fix the days and the time, and leave the house at that time whether you feel like it or not.
- Book something where someone expects you, such as a class or a session with a coach.
- Keep the training bag by the door rather than in a cupboard.
- Decide in the morning what the evening session will be.
- On tight days, use a plan from the guide to training in half an hour instead of skipping.
- If a week slips, restart with one short session rather than waiting for the start of a new month.
| Days | Opening hours |
|---|---|
| Saturday to Thursday | 06:00–23:00 |
| Friday | 09:00–22:00 |
Hours can change, for example during Ramadan. Confirm with the team before a late or early visit.
Fridays run on shorter club hours, with the midday prayers shaping the day. In Ramadan the hours change, and a late session after iftar can suit residents who can get there and back without fuss.
Driving past on Al Karamah Street
If you only pass along Al Karamah Street, on a school run or on the way to work, the gym already sits beside a road you drive. That is its most useful feature for you.
- Tie sessions to trips you already make, such as after the morning drop-off or on the way home.
- Keep your kit in the car, so passing can turn into stopping.
- For a women-only floor, the Ladies section has its own machines and the Pilates studio. Confirm your tier covers it.
- Book the free guided tour at the hour you usually pass, so you see the floor as it is then.
Questions, answered.
Does RPM have a separate branch on Al Karamah Street?
No. There is one RPM club, on Level 4 of AD HUB Sports Complex in Al Manhal. The route box measures the trip to it from the nearest point of the street.
Can I use the sauna on rest days without training?
Ask whether your tier or a pass includes the recovery suite. If it does, a rest-day visit is one of the perks of living this close. Anyone pregnant or with a heart condition should ask a doctor first.
How often should I train when the gym is this close?
As often as you recover from, not as often as you can get there. A few planned sessions a week with lighter activity on other days suits many people, and a coach can set the balance for you.
I drive along the street at different times each day. Can I still keep a routine?
Yes. Tie RPM to the days when your time is predictable and count the others as optional. A booked class or coached session on those days gives the week a fixed point.
