Which Jubail residents this suits
Jubail Island is an island, reached by bridge, and by the route box's measure the drive from there to RPM on Level 4 of AD HUB Sports Complex in Al Manhal is a mainland commute. That rules RPM out as a casual evening gym for most residents. It rules it in for one group: people who already drive onto the main island for work and can put a session at that end of the day. The general test is on whether a gym fits the trips you already make.
| RPM is worth a look if you | A gym by home is likely better if you |
|---|---|
| Work on the main island and can start the day there | Work from home, on Jubail, or at a mainland site |
| Want coaching, the Ladies section or the recovery suite | Mainly want cardio and moderate weights |
| Can hold two or three mornings a week fixed | Have mornings shaped by school runs on your side of the water |
| Have a fairly fixed start time at work | Start at a different hour most days |
Why the morning can suit a Jubail commuter
The morning drive onto the main island is usually the busier direction. On training days, leaving Jubail well before you need to for work puts you ahead of the worst of it, and the session uses time you would otherwise spend in traffic. Your evening is left for home.
Training after work is the other option: you stay on the main island while the evening traffic heads off it, then drive home later. Choose the slot you can repeat. If you cannot decide, spend one week on each. The guide to training before work covers sleep, breakfast and early starts in more detail.
A before-work morning, from Jubail to the desk
| Stage | What happens | Plan ahead by |
|---|---|---|
| Leave Jubail | Earlier than on a normal workday | Laying out training kit and office clothes the night before |
| Arrive at AD HUB | Park in the free on-site parking, then ride the lift to Level 4 | Saving the club's location in your maps app |
| Train | A focused session: one main lift or a coached block, then a short finisher | Asking which morning slots the coaches have |
| Get ready | Keypad lockers in the changing area, and the grooming hub's vanity area with hairdryers and products | Asking about showers, and whether towels are provided |
| Drive on to work | The last leg of your commute | Leaving a margin for traffic and a first meeting |
For a fuller checklist on changing for the office at a gym, read getting ready for work after a morning session. Check the opening time below against the hour you would arrive.
| Days | Opening hours |
|---|---|
| Saturday to Thursday | 06:00–23:00 |
| Friday | 09:00–22:00 |
Hours can change, for example during Ramadan. Confirm with the team before a late or early visit.
The club keeps shorter Friday hours, and Ramadan can move the times, so a morning plan needs checking in both cases.
Weekends and school holidays
At weekends there is no commute to ride on, so a visit is the full mainland commute in both directions. Keep weekend trips for something specific, such as a coached session or a reformer class in the Ladies section, and do routine work wherever is easiest.
- School holidays can change your mornings in either direction: lighter roads if many families travel, a fuller house if yours stays.
- If you will be away for weeks, ask the team what your membership allows before you go.
- If your office closes for a period, switch your sessions to the weekend rather than letting the routine lapse.
Bridges, tunnel and streets on the mapped route
The mapped route from Jubail Island uses Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street, Sheikh Khalifa Bridge, the Sheikh Zayed Tunnel and Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street (Salam Street), finishing on Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Street into AD HUB. Those figures run from Jubail to the club. On a before-work morning your trip continues to the office, so time both legs.

Questions, answered.
Is there an RPM club on Jubail Island?
No. The club is in Al Manhal on the main island, on Level 4 of AD HUB Sports Complex, and RPM has no other branch. From Jubail it is a mainland commute, and the route box gives the mapped estimates.
Will I reach the office on time after a morning session?
That depends on your start time and the opening hours above. Try it first on a day with no early meetings, and adjust the session length rather than the leaving time.
Can I leave office clothes at the club?
The changing area has keypad lockers for your visit. Ask the team whether anything can be left between visits before you plan on it.
Only one of us works on the main island. Should we both join?
Decide person by person. The partner who works on the main island can fit RPM into the commute, while the one whose days stay off the island may do better with a gym by home.
Does a coach help with only a few mornings a week?
It can. Personal training at RPM is built around your goal and schedule, so a coach can plan short morning sessions and set work for the days you train elsewhere.
