For people who come to Reem Mall, not people who live beside it
Reem Mall is a shopping mall on Al Reem Island, which is reached from the main island by bridge. Residents of Reem have their own questions about leaving the island to train. This page is for two other groups: people who work at the mall and travel onto Reem for their shifts, and regular visitors who drive over from elsewhere in the city.
RPM is a single club, on Level 4 of AD HUB Sports Complex in Al Manhal, so neither group will find it on Reem. Start with what RPM is and where it sits, for people who work on Reem, then use the rest of this page to decide what the trip is for.
After a day of customers, train in a way that feels nothing like work
Retail work asks for patience, a steady manner and hours on the floor. The session that keeps you coming back after that is often the one that feels least like the shop. Match the session to how the shift left you.
| How the shift left you | A session that suits | Where it happens at RPM |
|---|---|---|
| Talked to people all day and want quiet | Solo strength work from a plan written in advance | The training floor: squat rack, plate-loaded machines, cable towers |
| Wound up and wanting to hit something | Fitness boxing: bag work, pad work and conditioning | The functional area in the Mixed section |
| Restless after hours in one spot | Sled pushes, battle ropes and kettlebells | The turf lane |
| Missing company outside work | A group class | Both sections, on a timetable that changes |
| A woman who wants a women-only space | Strength work, a reformer class or combat fitness | The women-only Ladies section, including the Pilates studio |
Do not assume sparring. Ask the team what a boxing session includes. In the Ladies section, the roster lists Imen Hasnaoui as the combat and self-defence coach.
If bag work appeals most, read about fitness boxing at RPM before your first visit, so you know what to ask.
Fixing sessions around a Reem Mall rota
For staff who live off Reem, each working day already contains a bridge crossing onto the island and another back. Rather than re-planning every week, fix two anchors and let a third session float.
- Anchor one is your regular day off: the longest session of the week and, if your tier includes it, time in the recovery suite. If you are pregnant or have a heart condition, get your doctor's view before using it.
- Anchor two is the morning before your latest-starting shift, kept moderate so you reach work with energy left.
- The floating session goes wherever the published rota leaves a gap, and in a heavy week you drop it without guilt.
A coach can hold the anchor slots for you. Personal training at RPM is planned around your goal and the hours your rota leaves, so bring the rota to the first session.
Visiting Reem Mall from elsewhere in the city
If you visit Reem Mall often from the main island or the mainland, it is tempting to make the trip carry a session too. Be honest about the map: the mall is on Reem and the club is on the main island, so combining them adds a leg to the outing rather than sharing one.
It makes sense when the session is the main reason for the day, such as a booked coached session, with the mall as the extra. For the occasional session, ask whether a day pass is available and what it includes. Passes are time-sensitive, so the team confirms availability and price.
Off Reem, along Defence Road and up to Level 4
The mapped route from Reem Mall uses Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street (Salam Street) and Hazza' Bin Zayed The First Street (Defence Road), and finishes on Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Street into AD HUB. The route box gives the figures for this short cross-island trip, bridge included.
Once you arrive, the car stays in AD HUB's free on-site parking and the lift takes you up to Level 4.
| Days | Opening hours |
|---|---|
| Saturday to Thursday | 06:00–23:00 |
| Friday | 09:00–22:00 |
Hours can change, for example during Ramadan. Confirm with the team before a late or early visit.
Mornings start early and evenings run late, with a shorter Friday and adjusted times in Ramadan. A closing shift may end after the club does, which is why the anchors above sit on mornings and days off.
Questions, answered.
Is RPM inside Reem Mall?
No. RPM has a single club, on the main island in Al Manhal, on Level 4 of AD HUB Sports Complex. From Reem Mall you cross a bridge to reach it, and the route box shows the mapped trip.
Can I spar at RPM?
Do not count on it. RPM offers fitness boxing, meaning bag work, pad work and conditioning. Ask the team whether sparring is possible at all before you plan around it.
Do group classes fit a shift pattern?
Sometimes. Classes run in both sections, but the timetable changes, so ask which classes fall on your days off or before your later shifts.
Can I come straight from work in my uniform?
Bring training clothes and change at the club. Keypad lockers in the changing area hold your uniform and bag, and it is worth asking whether towels are provided.
My employer runs several shops in the mall. Can staff join together?
Ask your manager or HR team to contact RPM, which shapes corporate arrangements around each organisation and confirms the details when asked.
