An investment authority's tower, and a club close by
The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority describes itself on its website as a globally diversified investment institution that invests funds on behalf of the Government of Abu Dhabi, and it gives its address on the Corniche. This page is for the people who work in ADIA Tower and the neighbouring office towers, and above all for anyone whose working days run long. It makes no claims about ADIA, its staff or its hours.
RPM is one club, on Level 4 of AD HUB Sports Complex in Al Manhal, and it has no arrangement with ADIA. The route box measures the trip from the tower and rates it a short drive, so the real question is which part of a long day can hold a session. Before you plan, read what a long day in a Corniche tower leaves for RPM's one club.
Set the morning's effort by the day ahead
A long day needs a morning session that leaves you sharper at four in the afternoon, not flattened. Pick tomorrow's session the night before, from tomorrow's calendar:
| Tomorrow looks like | Morning session | How you should walk out |
|---|---|---|
| An ordinary office day | Your main strength work: the squat rack, plate-loaded machines and cable towers | Worked, with energy left over |
| A long day with something in the evening | A shorter session at moderate effort, with no hard conditioning | Warm and awake rather than tired |
| Presentations or difficult meetings | Steady cardio on a bike or cross-trainer, then mobility work | Clear-headed |
| The morning after a late night at the office | No session. Sleep, and keep that evening clear | Rested |
If the last row turns up most weeks, move training to the weekend for a while rather than trading sleep for sessions.
For an alarm-to-desk timeline and the empty-stomach question, see training before work.
Write the fallbacks before you need them
Long days break morning routines in predictable ways. Decide your answer to each one once, keep it in your phone, and stop renegotiating with yourself when the alarm goes:
- An early meeting appears: the session moves to that evening if you leave on time, or to the next clear morning.
- You slept badly: swap the planned session for the steady cardio row, or rest.
- Work ends late: do not start heavy lifting at night. The next morning carries it.
- Two mornings in a row are lost: book a coached slot for the third, so someone is expecting you.
- A week of travel is coming: bodyweight work in the hotel room, then a lighter first session back at RPM.
Coached sessions follow the same rules. Through personal training, a coach can hold an early slot for you and rework the programme when a week goes off course.
From the club to a Corniche desk
A morning routine lasts when the move from training floor to office is planned as carefully as the session. The mapped route from the tower ends on Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Street (Airport Road) into AD HUB, and in the morning you drive it the other way. Once there, you park free on site at AD HUB and take the lift to Level 4.
- Arrive in training clothes, with the day's office clothes on a hanger in the car.
- Keep your phone, wallet and keys in a keypad locker in the changing area.
- Getting ready happens at the grooming hub, where the vanity area is stocked with hairdryers and products. Ask the team about showers, and whether towels are provided, before your first morning.
- If training on an empty stomach does not suit you, eat something small before and a proper breakfast at your desk.
| Days | Opening hours |
|---|---|
| Saturday to Thursday | 06:00–23:00 |
| Friday | 09:00–22:00 |
Hours can change, for example during Ramadan. Confirm with the team before a late or early visit.
Opening is early and closing is late, with a shorter Friday. A week with one very early meeting can give that day the evening slot, or a rest, and keep the other mornings as planned.
The weekend that resets a long week
When most weekday sessions are kept short, the weekend does the rest:
- A longer strength session, with the heavier lifts that weekday mornings left out.
- A group class or a coached session, if you want company or a plan you did not write.
- Time in the recovery suite, with its Finnish sauna, aroma steam room and ice bath. Heat and cold do not suit everyone, so speak to your doctor first if you are pregnant or have a heart condition, and ask whether your tier includes the suite.
- A walk on the Corniche in the cooler months, as the easy day between two weekend sessions.

Questions, answered.
Is RPM inside ADIA Tower, or anywhere on the Corniche?
Neither. You will find RPM in one place only: Level 4 of AD HUB Sports Complex, Al Manhal. The route box shows the mapped drive from ADIA Tower.
Can my employer set something up with RPM?
RPM has no arrangement with ADIA. For any employer in the towers, the route is through HR: corporate arrangements are made one organisation at a time and confirmed on enquiry.
Can I train after a late finish instead?
Yes, the club opens into the late evening, as the hours above show. Keep a late session moderate and short, so the night still ends with a full sleep before the next long day.
What if the day starts with a breakfast meeting?
Make it a rest day or an evening day. A session squeezed in before a breakfast meeting tends to be rushed, and the opening time may not leave room for it anyway.
Female colleagues have asked about a women-only floor. Is there one?
There is a women-only Ladies section with its own strength and cardio equipment and the Pilates studio, where female coaches on the roster work. Which sections a membership covers depends on the tier, so confirm it.
Will a morning session leave me tired by the afternoon?
It can, if the effort is wrong for the day. Match it to the table above: harder before ordinary days, easier before long ones. If you are tired most afternoons, look at sleep before the training plan.
